The Salamander Tote
The extra large Salamander Tote is great for the beach, pool, patio, storage, picnic, grocery store or farmers market. Created in Madagascar by a collective of five workshops in the region of Manjakatompo, the raffia is locally grown and harvested, purchased by the collective, dyed, shaped and woven. The bags are colorfully striped with two playful salamanders embroidered across the front, and perfect for carrying all your beach essentials: towels, lotions, books, e-readers, and more.
Carol S. Miller donates a portion of profits from each Sun Bag to La Maison D’Aina, where the bags are made to help rural families.
Each bag is handcrafted from natural fibers, and there may be a slight variation in size.
The bags come in several color combinations: Blue Stripe Combo, Orange/Red Combo, Pink Stripe Combo.
